Probably unrelated to V-Ray because it my be on the Max side: Usually when entering a new value in any spinner, the value is still selected (or highlighted) when the user presses enter. So you can easily put in the next value, one after the other. Take the rotation parameter for the V-Ray HDRi for example, you often have to type in many values in order to find a good looking one.
When running IPR however, the value becomes deselected when the user presses enter. You have to double click into the spinner to enter another value. I know this might be a small thing, but clicking the same parameter every few seconds quickly becomes annoying. Hope it is understandable what I mean. If not, I can make a short gif or something demonstrating what I mean
