So, I can no longer access the forum from home, on my wifi. Currently, I am using a proxy. I turned off my virus software and disabled my firewall, but no go. I rebooted and reset my router and spent 1/2 hour with my ISP, but they said that it isn't on their side and my router settings are good. iPhone on 4G is fine and so is accessing it via a proxy server. As previously discussed, the ForumRunnner no longer works, so I can't use my iPad or iPhone for the site.

What URL do you use to access the forum?

      Best regards,

It's working now. I was using a bookmark, but also tried the home page link; neither worked. Now, all is good.

I emailed support and they requested a trace route, which I sent. It was back within an hour.

This happened to me too, when I traced it it was blocked in England right as they announced they were collecting all communications. I think I flushed my DNS and it still didn't work, but started to work after a couple days.

Again, can't access the site. LTE works, on my iPhone, but without a working app it isn't usable.

Use a web proxy server, it'll work.

Yeah, but that's weird. I am using Tor now, but it is slow.

I don't think proxies are *that* weird, but to each his own. There are sites online where you can trace the connection to see where it's getting held up... for me it was England. Here's one site for example: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/visual-tracert/

Well, it's weird to have to use a proxy to view the forum. Proxies in themselves are not weird.

It's your ISP that is harshing your mellow most likely. Specifically the route they are using to get to the forum. This is not something Chaosgroup can really do anything about, but if you call Comcast or whoever you are using and complain they'll maybe be able to fix it after escalating you to tier 2. The tactic I would use is that you pay to be able to access any site you want, but since they ISP isn't letting you access the sites you want that you want a partial refund. They usually jump at that point because who the hell wants to deal with that? (Nobody, that's who.)

There are other visual tracerouting websites, interesting that you cannot even get to the first hop without that error. When I use that tracert page now, it stops in LA. I guess Chaosgroup has some of the forum servers in LA now, or my connection magically disappears there.

                          Best,
                          Alfred

I have already talked to my ISP and they said that they don't block sites. I would probably disbelieve them , however, it seems that a few people here, around the world, have reported the same issue.

In that case they aren't blocking it intentionally but one of the backbones or routers is having issues. My problem lasted about 5 days.
