Heard back from Chaos Group support and was told to "contact local Internet provider and ask if they're blocking the connection to our forum page". It is just really strange that this happens first on my home PC and then now on my work PC. They apparently are accessing the Internet through different providers (different City though in the same state here in the U.S.). I now am using free VPN to access the forum or on the phone through cell phone provider's 4G LTE network. Don't have problem accessing other websites but Chaos Group's forum...

Can you get us some way to contact your ISP (email, phone number) so that we can get in touch with them and get more information? There's not much else that we can do on our side without additional information.

i dont have knowledge about networks, but for me there are two possibilities. either they block us or we block them. question...what is blocked...our ip or the ip of chaosgroup\alchemy.net ??

i think there is someone with deeper knowledge here.
if the network specialists from vray could give us a little advice, we could check it out for sure.

Add me to the club. I stopped having access to the forum on my PC 7-8 hours ago. I'm typing this from my phone. A hack attack? Why would different ISPs all over the globe suddenly start blocking this website? I suspect different reasons. I will call my ISP anyway and ask what's the situation.

PS: I can access the forums with a proxy. I just called my ISP, they said they aren't blocking anything but they're going to escalate the issue to their technical department and call me back when they have an answer.

I'm really surprised. Indeed, we are suddenly numerous ! it's strange no ?
It's a painful problem and we do not have an answer at the moment.
I also contacted my ISP and they gave me the same answer so wait & see...

The alchemy.net domain belongs to the co-location center in LA where the server with the forum is located, and I'm guessing the problem is with them. They were recently acquired by another company so maybe they are reorganizing something. We'll check it out. Thanks for the pointers!
