  • Vray 3.5 Beta - IPR still not refreshing with some features

    There are still things that require manual refresh of IPR. Here are some I just tested:
    1. "User per camera exposure" and "Ignore per-camera exposure (use global)" in Physical camera exposure control tab of Environment and Effects
    2. All options in the Environment tab of Vray


    I will continue adding to this list as I find more.

        With one of the latest nightlies, making changes in the include/exclude list in lights refresh IPR but the change doesn't go into effect until you stop IPR and start it again. Ideally it should take effect without restarting.

        PS: Also, the "Renderable" checkbox in "Object Properties" still requires stopping IPR. Would this work for the official release? I consider this an important thing that should work with IPR.

          And another thing. Unhiding a clipper object isn't picked up by IPR. Please check the video attached.

                Any news about v3.5 ETA please ? unfortunately, I don't have time for beta testing for now (and I'm not brave enough to deploy beta software for production), but we'd heavily need IPR ...

                      Also, changing object ID's on transform nodes has no effect during an IPR. (Say if we wanted to use object ids and vraymultisubtex and tweak interactively)

                        when you switch from a camera that has DOF setp and go to perspective, the DOF settgin are still there so the whole IPR render is whacked. You then have to go back to camera, turn it off and then its fine in perspective.

                              Changing any exposure settings in Environment and Effects (8 key) still doesn't prompt refresh of IPR in 3.6. I hope this is still on the list of improvements for the immediate future?
