3.5 Beta - "Applying glare..." message not disappearing

When I apply lens effects to an image, the "Applying glare..." message stays in the progress bar forever even though the effect has been applied and I can no longer see any other info about the rendering such as render time elapsed, left, etc.

I assume you are talking about the progress messages at the very bottom of VFB.
Those actually follows the rendering stages and whatever comes last remains after the render end, if you would like to get additional details about the elapsed time etc you may use the Stamp-functionality.
