So I was rendering out a scene with a bunch of letters as mesh lights (neon sign) in VRAY RT (3.5 beta 2) and was pretty surprised to see the speed results in no way reflect the machines they are rendered on.

So Hydra is a 4 core AMD 2.5gh with a GTX 460 - just a file server basically.

Titan has a GTX 980 and an Intel quadcore i7 3700k - the processor should be at least double the Hydra and the graphics card profoundly faster.

The Apollo machine has like, a 560GTX I think and a slightly faster processor than Titan.

The normally when using Iray I would expect render times to be between 2x or 4x as fast on Titan than Hydra.

    What's happening?

The CPU should not matter much. What are your ray bundle size, rays per pixel, noise threshold, max render time and max samples per pixel settings ?
Also, I assume you use RT CUDA, right ?
