Question about going from beta 3.5.02 to adv 3.5.03 and back?

I noticed a bump size was different today after upgrading from beta 3.5.02 to 3.5.03. It was built with a color2bump and a gradient, and a then a noise. I figured the code was changed somehow, so I was simply able to reinstall 3.5.02, render a still to vfb history, then go back to 3.5.03 and match the size number with the history image.

I was wondering if I will be able to do this in the future (go back and forth between versions) whenever I want, or will the beta license expire thereby inhibiting me from these fixes after expiration? Does anyone know?

The beta version still uses a regular V-Ray license. It will not expire and you can go back and forth as much as you want.
