I've got an old USB dongle from way back when too. I've been trying to change my USB dongle to the online licensing system so I don't have to think about taking the dongle out when I want to work on my laptop (or worry about losing it between home and office). If I understand this thread correctly, there's no way to do this yet!?? Like jrandom, I was able to run the beta version of V-Ray without the dongle and was really excited to finally get rid of that stupid thing, now it appears I'm still stuck with it. Ugh. Dongles are so 1999.

Following up on this, should i get a second dongle? Is this migration tool coming soon? I was told by support that around this period it will be availiable. Thanks...
