  • 3.5 material Fog issue

I've noticed some weird behavior with the material Fog setting after installing 3.5. I've attached one region render of the same file with 3.4 and 3.5 and the glass material settings.
In 3.5 even with both fog multiplier and bias at 0.0 the fog color influences the glass color. After playing with the color "Value" setting, I've noticed that at some point the coloring disappears and appears at certain other points.

In the three screenshots this is what happens: at Value=3 glass is clear. At Value=2 it turns greenish. But if I click OK to set the Value=2 and later increase to any other value, the green tint stays. How is this even possible?

    Yep. Thanks for the pointer!
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

So I looked at this, but it's not actually a bug; the previous behavior was wrong.

If you don't want any fog (which is what the previous version did when the fog multiplier was 0.0), you should keep the fog color to white.

      Best regards,

OK, thanks for the reply. I have a bunch of files with this same material, so I'll have to remember to check them all before rendering again
