  • .vrscene Scene Node

    I was really happy to see the new vrscene node, and it was the first thing I tried out.
    For me, as soon as I select the vrscene file to load, Max crashes immediately.
    Has anyone got this to work? And if so, can I get a copy of the vrscene file to test here?

    This is on Max 2016, V-Ray 3.50.03.

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Yep, works fine for me on multiple scenes. Can you

    a) Either attach here or email me to vlado@chaosgroup.com the 3ds Max crash dump from the temp folder;
    b) Either attach here or email to me the .vrscene file in question?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
    I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

      Okay, I've narrowed it down.
      All of my vrscenes contain VRay proxies.
      If I convert the proxies to meshes and save the vrscene, then I can import them with the vrscene node.
      Vlado, I'll mail you my crash dump and a demo scene.

      Thanks,
      Dave
