Upon updating to the newest official 3.50.03, using V-Ray RT GPU for ActiveShade updates the veiwport much slower but with higher quality. Also the VFB updates from center out as if it were not in Progressive RPP mode, but instead bucket. Maybe this is just the slower refreshing between iterations that makes that seem so? After switching back to 3.50.01 Beta, the VFB updates faster but with lower quality iteration intervals (which is preferred as the progressive option seems more suited for such). The render settings remain the same for each time.

So is there a way to return the ActiveShade Vray RT GPU responsiveness (initiation as well as iteration intervals) to that of 3.50.01? I've currently switched all nodes back to 3.50.01 as the current official build is (or at least feels) much slower.
P.S. This thread may be better suited in the Vray RT GPU Forum section, so any mods feel free to move it there.

The official in fact is much faster, because of the Adaptive Lights. It however ignores the "progiressive RPP" option that was making it "feel" faster in some cases.
Please set the "rays per pixel" from the RT settings to 1 and see if that helps.
Best,
Blago.V-Ray fan.
