AerialPerspective + VRayVolumeGrid, incorrect layering

I'm on the latest Vray version 3.50.03 and noticed that the VrayVolumeGrid and AerialPerspective Volumetrics don't work well together.
See the images below. That's what it looks like if I only render the VrayVolumeGrid:


That's what happens when I activate the AerialPerspective effect when it's first in the list of atmosphere effects (no fog is applied):


And when it's last in the list (vanishes completely):


Is there anything I can do about it or do I have to wait for a fixed release?

You can try and set your VRayVolumeGrid in Volumetric Geometry render mode and this should do the job.
