Title says it all really.. Using Max 2014 on Windows 7...
Have upgraded most of our workstations and render farm, without a problem for rendering and DR..
However one machine is playing up.. Loads a statup vray scene fine.. and renders it.. (just a vrayplane, sun and skydome with hdri)
But load another project scene with 1000s of objects and lots of maps and vray just freezes on render (no errors on loading the scene).. vray info window freezes (no info), and main max render dialog fires up.. says "transferring scene".. and then max/vray hangs.. unresponsive.. and it has to be killed.. (gunshot to head preferably)..
Same issue with DR.. it loads the vrayserverscene.max.. the master machine finds it on the network, says it's starting to send the max scene.. then nothing.. just frozen.
Have just reverted that machine to 3.4.. and everything renders fine?!??!
I know it's a particularly tricky one to diagnose.. but any help or suggestions would be very welcome!
