ipr not updating

hi,
just playing with ipr using a sphere with vraydisplacement modifier and it was updating fine when i changed the displace amount, then i changed the displacement map and now it doesn`t update any more. you have to stop/restart it every time you make a change. sorry if this has been posted before.

I have a similar something but not exactly related to displacement, and had it at a few different occasions in different scenes and setups. What happens is it starts rendering passes but the VFB doesn't update. But when I click region render in VFB it shows briefly what it rendered so far. Only to restart rendering because of the region render click. Very strange. This continues a few times and then fixes itself.
