RT and progressive sampler ignoring "Affect Background"

We just installed the latest Vray 3.50.04 and instantly ran into a problem with the background images in our renderings. I could brake it down to the fact that in "Bucket Mode" everything looks as in previous versions but when switching to progressive/RT/IPR the background image looks as if the "affect background" is ignored. Anybody else encountered this phenomenon?

Vlado, if you need the max file I can upload it, but I think this can easily be reproduced?

Hello,

The "Affect background" option is not supported by the progressive sampler (used by progressive and V-Ray RT). There is a warning about that in the log too.
