Vray toon issues

Is there a reason this is occurring ? Double lines seem to be on the contact points between the globe and hands. It seems quite untidy in certain areas too.

The hands and earth are seperate toon effects. The hand seems to have strange double lines where it contacts the earth. If I check the vraytoon render element all lines are single thickness and look fine.

I tried changing to the native ink & paint but it was doing the same thing so I assumed it was something to do with intersection. Ink & paint has an option for intersection bias which seemed to control this behaviour to an extent but I cannot see how to resolve it for vraytoon.

It almost looks like it is trying to draw the shadows under the fingers.

This looks like a bug, can you attach this part of the scene?

There are no shadows in the scene. I'm using vray light materials for everything.

The scene doesn't have toon effect applied. Can you post a screenshot with your toon set up so we could replicate the issue? I tired to but I could not achieve the same "effect".
Also which V-Ray version are you using?
