  • Atmosphere/Fog bug

    hey guys,

I've been working on a scene and it's been absolutely fine up until today.

I have an environment fog assigned to a gizmo, yet I am getting some very strange artefacts outside of the gizmo that I've tracked down to the environment fog (shows up in the atmosphere pass). The really strange part is that the fog/error is showing up OUTSIDE of the gizmo - even though I've re-made the gizmo from scratch again, just to be sure it wasn't that.

    Any ideas?

[edit] The error appears to disappear when I disable distributed rendering. Why should this be?
[edit 2] restarting all the render nodes appears to have fixed it (fingers crossed). No idea why they started doing this though - perhaps worth looking into?
[edit 2] Aaaaaand it's back again.

Also following on from this, does the vrayenvironmentfog not work when the aerial perspective is enabled?
