Please give some more details -

    1. Is this happening with any scene?
    2. When calculating the effects are your GPUs utilized at 100% ?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Any scene, as long as the resolution is high enough. As soon as the resolution exceeds 6k width, things start to get really slow. GPU's are utilizied 100%, thats the reason for the whole system freeze. I disabled GPU acceleration, but that of course makes the lens effects even slower.

V-Ray just broke it's own record. Total time for lens effects is over 11 minutes. Crazy.

I have just seen that the lens effects were greatly improved in V-Ray Next for Maya. Will the Max users get the same (new glare/bloom controls, seperate render elements) as well?

Great, looking forward to it. I hope the square artifact bug with the adaptive domelight gets fixed as well.

I can't. because Maxzip keeps telling me that the file size is too big. We are not on Max2019, yet.
