  • Lightselect different in RT from Production render - production broken?

    Hi,

I am trying to composit my entire car lighting in Photoshop and noticed that while testing in RT my lightselect passes are rendered correctly, with the reflection included (lightselect is in Normal mode), but when rendered in production (progressive and bucket are same) the reflection is gone and I think only diffuse part is seen.

Certainly seems like a bug and I would love to fix this asap as the image I am about to render is too big for RT.
    Thanks.

Yes, I can confirm. I did a test and it only worked in RT CUDA. Adv and RT CPU didn't work.

At the momemnt the light select render elements contains all the secondary rays only in V-Ray (RT) GPU.

Was it always like that? I thought that composing the lights onto the diffuse pass was supposed to result in the beauty pass

by the way, I decided to do the rendering with RT then, but composing all the lights on top of the diffuse render element together with the shadow element also doesnt give me the beauty pass. it is way to dark (without shadow element too bright)...I cant seem to find a good tutorial to a proper compositing. any tips?

Is that GPU? Does this help?
