  • GPU Textures on Demand consumes to much RAM, more tha using full size textures?

    Hi guys,

Recently i had to transfer half my ram from my Workstation to another PC. Never had such issues until i got left with 24 gb RAM on my WS.
When using GPU/ Textures on Demand to render, light cache (2880 samples, 0.01 threshold, screen units ) calculations Crashes my entire system.
Instead when using full size textures.. it run smoothly!
Is this a bug or is it a known issue that i should be aware of?
The entire scene takes on full size textures 5.8gb of vRAM.
    Thank you in advance!

    Best Regards

Using on-demand textures can cause higher system(main) memory usage in general. But this might as well be bug. Can you send scene that we can check to confirm?
