  • background issue when rendering from left/front

    Hi guys,
I think it is a bug but not quite sure so here it is :
-simple scene lighted with hdri and vray sun
image 1 is from camera and the background is OK
image 2 is from front view and the back ground is getting dark while the scene is OK.
Am I missing something obvious here ?

    Thanks in advance .

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

It's correct. For the front view there is no actual field of view to compute what part of the spherical HDRI to use in the image so it's using just a pixel or two to fill up the background.
    www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

Mmm so the only workaround is to use backplate in screen mode.?
the reflectlion seems to be affected too by this.
tryed to use camera with huge focal lenghth but I counter the same issue (a bit better actully) .. Will keep trying and keep you updated.
      Thanks
