  • waving form modeling

    Hi,
I am currently working on project full of waving form, is there any method to model that correctly and easy to edit for further render?
The result should be something like this:

    Thanks

There is a wave spacewarp you can use for modeling.
    AMD TR 7980X, 256GB DDR5, GeForce RTX 4090 24GB, Win 10 Pro

Thanks! But can I use that to do a circular organic form of the image above showing?
Didn't find much information over the internet.
      Thank you!

Create a cylinder with enough cap segments. Delete the top polygons. Add a ripple modifier. Profit

Thanks!! I can create the form now but how about the texture and the lighting map? to create that fading led dots effect?
I tried to use a bitmap with illstration for that but it looks fake. What modifier or material should I use for that?
Can I use particle system for that? But I am doing a still image rendering.
          Thank you!!

Use forest pack or something similar to distribute a bunch of sphere's with a vraylighmtl or something. You can use the grid distribution map from Forest Pack. I've attached my scene to this. (Max 2016)

I have downloaded the forest pack and installed it. It worked perfectly in the viewport but didn't show in the rendering. Anyone had this issue before too?
                  Thanks

Did you apply a material? What versions of vray and FP are you using?
