Licencing Server

Recently Upgraded to Vray 3.5.04
also windows 10 decided to update yesterday.
today I can't get a valid licence off my dongle.
I have a 3ds max installation with dongle plugged into my machine.
the WibuKey Server is working.
Currently the LicenceServer is 127.0.0.1 port 30304 there are no other licence servers on my network.
I have the latest Online Licence server installed. But I have a dongle, so I shouldn't need that right?
Should i uninstall this ?

so I uninstalled the online licence server and then re-installed vray and it workds but it does seem to want me to update the licence servere
Though I am a bit reluctant to

The Creators update brakes the license server service - please see https://forums.chaosgroup.com/forum/...ves-vrlservice
That's why the reinstall fixed the issue.

Regarding the update - the latest license server is 4.4.1 - https://download.chaosgroup.com/down...dalone-441-adv
The older ones can be used too if they serve your needs, it's just that it's usually best to use the most recent version since it includes the newest features/fixes (details can be found in the changelog).

It seems that thread was from april. I was only offered the Creators Update on friday last week.
Funny that the provide free 3d software and all of a sudden existing 3d software starts to break.
Might even be deliberate.
