  • Lightcache and Irrradiance are only used in the first serie of render farm anim and not for the following

I try to be the most concise.
I calculated a light cache and an irradiance for a camera animation.
I run the rendering animation calculation:
The first set of frames calculated on each machine is ok, uses the lightcache and the irradiance well, but when calculating the second series, the rendering calculations are done as if they did not use the calculated IRR and LC files.
I have done the test by shifting the rendering request starting from frame 12 for example, I restart the calculation, the first frame series OK, from the second it redracts

Could i get an answer ? Please !
I restart an animation, same problem !
    i computed lightcache and irradiance.
When i render, only the 6 first frame use the light... after no light... And as if by chance 6 machines computed the irradiance and lightcache files... It seems to be a BUG.
And for info, yes we have the licences !

It would help if you can specify the V-Ray version, the 3ds Max version, as well as provide more specific reproduction steps with a scene.

      Best regards,

If I'm understanding correctly, only one machine should generate the Imap, otherwise it will be constantly overwritten.

Would the problem come from the fact i use linear exposure control ?
          Vray version is 3.50.04
          Max 2017
          Windows 7 Pro SP1
No maxedesa read carefully what i written in the problem description.

Perhaps you managed to isolate the issue and this might be related to the Light Cache. It would be best if you could send us a test scene to support@chaosgroup.com for investigation, along with the following information for the version of V-Ray and 3ds Max that you are using.
