I have been having some really annoying license issues in the last 2 weeks. I am posting here as I have been in contact with the support team 7 days ago and they have been no help.
we have 2 x vray 3.0 Licenses for 3ds max and the licenses have always run ok from the dongles putting one in each of our 2 machines.
But now on my colleagues machine, he loses his vray license about 10 times a day, it works for 20 minutes then drops out.....may be a faulty dongle?
So i thought to overcome this we would try and activate the online license server.
We have 2 x vray licenses and when we log into the license server it is only showing that we have one license server and only displaying one dongle (the one that works).
After 7 days of constant emails, all the support team have told me is to contact my re-seller to ask for a new dongle.
I am completely misunderstanding the online license server surely you dont need a dongle for online activation???
All I want is to have 2 online licenses and to allocate them to my 2 workstations....simple
So by the time I wait for the reseller now to send me a new dongle, we will have had 2 weeks of unproductive work.
Sorry for the rant...its been driving me mad!
