VrayHDRI map with HDR texture not working with displacement

Hey, guys,
found out today, afterspending almost 8 hours working out the issue, that pluging HDR file into VrayHDRI map and using that as displacement map in vray displacement mod DOESNT WORK!!!
whereas
using EXR in bitmap loader works perfectly.

Is this known or am i doing somethign completely wrong?
Ive used NONE as color space in the HDRI map and i also unchecked filtering.

Any ideas?

EXR or HDRI, both should work as displacement texture map. May I see the file ?

Hi Tashko,
i got it working in the end although i found a few differences:
- there is a difference when saving HDR/EXR from PS and Affinity Photo - quality wise + sometimes the output from Affinity doesnt work (my case)
- using EXR/HDR through loader and using EXR/HDR through the vrayhdri loader produces different results
