  • 3dsmax / VRay 3.6 / Cryptomatte / Separate render channels

    Hi,

I started using Cryptomatte for VRay today, no problem with the VRay raw image file option, I'm saving exr files and it works perfectly but 3dsmax crashes when using VRayCryptomatte render element and separate render channels option together.
    Am I missing something ?

    Thanks,

      We'll fix it.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

Can someone offer some insight on how to make this work with Nuke? I have the Nuke side implemented and working with the sample images from Psyop, but it seems that it does not register the cryptomatte render elements. Is there an option that I'm missing?

Update: Didn't realize I had to save it through the VRay Raw Image dialog box, not the normal Max Common Options Save Dialog. Works fine now.
