  • VRay Round Edges Bump Flicker

in vr3.60.01 I am getting edge flicker only one one of my farm machines on edges that are utilizing VRay Round Edges. If I disable that machine it renders fine. It is an older machine, but I could use the extra 16 cores. Has anyone ever seen this before?

    That machines specs:
    2x Intel Xeon E5620 2.4ghz
    32GB RAM
    Win10Pro

I am wondering if this could possible be beacuse there is just onboard video ont his server machine, no need for a video card. Is round edges processed by video card?

Interesting enough, I found it was due to a double face because the source model was a surface based cad model. Somehow, the forward face was being decided differently on that machine. I use a push modifier on a very small setting to separate the two surfaces and it seems to have worked. ?\_(ツ)_/? Math.

Yeah, double faces would cause issues. Glad you figured it out.
