  • Problems with Cryptomatte in Fusion.

Hi, I'm trying to get the cryptomatte to work in fusion and have some problems. I don't know if its on chaos side or the (still beta) fusion implementation.
Here is the thread at We Suck Less if you want to take a look:

German guy, sorry for my English.

I noticed that it doesn't recognize materials which are nested in multi subobject mtls. Instead, it just "sees" the subobject mtl. Is that a restriction? Or will it be fixed?
German guy, sorry for my English.

For the multimaterials, it is a restriction for now - we will implement it eventually, but some changes to V-Ray are required to make it work.

      Best regards,
      Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

I don't get any issues with your EXR files in Nuke, let me install the latest Fusion version and see what is going on.

It's a limitation which we are working to solve. Hopefully for one of the next SP releases.

Not even with the denoised one? That would mean its probably the fusion plugin.

Sounds like Cedric found a fix.
There were two bugs in the fusion plugin.

              That would be awesome!
In meantime, does anyone by any chance know cool scripts to rip the objects apart by mtl id's and apply the sub materials to said objects?
