  • Camera viewport not the same as render output- camera dummy animation ignored?

I have a problem with 3DS Max 2017. ( 19 SF) and vray 3.6 (and 3.5), using Advanced production rendering mode. (RT CUDA seems to be fine in this case) .
    PC spec: CPU I7-6900K 3.2GHz, RAM 32GB, windows 10 enterprise 64bit, GTX 1080 x 2 with 378.92 drivers.

I have a camera which has it's movement animation keyframed, it follows a circular spline path to give me nice 45 degree angles for aircraft views render. The aircraft also has it's own movement keyframed.
In the Camera viewport I can see the correct animation for each frame, however when I press render, for example "frame 8" it doesn't render the correct frame, or looks like it's ignoring the camera movement and only the object movement is rendered.

I have attached an example scene where I removed the aircraft but left a teapot instead. Hopefully you can help us out with this problem. Ideally I would use RT CUDA to render but with 3.6 I have been having problems on render crashes or weirdly long render times after first frame is finished rendering so Advanced seems to be the only option for this particular large scene with xrefs.

That's very strange behavior indeed. If I replace the circle or the camera it works fine again. I'll forward the scene to the developers for further investigation.
