I have noticed an issue with the VrayVolumeGrid where the CPU usage remains high after rendering completes.
I've attached a few examples.
1 Grid before rendering CPU usage around 4% average
1 Grid after rendering CPU usage stays around 11% average
3 Grids before rendering CPU usage around 4% average
3 Grids after rendering CPU usage stays around 28% average
The CPU will remain high until the scene is reset, max is closed, or the vrayvolumegrids are deleted and a garbage collection is run.
I made a similar post about this in the phoenix forums regarding the same issue with phoenix grids, and the problem was quickly identified and fixed in a new phoenix nightly build. I believe it was related to the fact that this is a multi core machine, if that is helpful at all.
Please advise.
Thanks.
