Not scene dependent, but MAX crashes often while moving things on screen while using IPR. This morning I was nudging a car up and MAX crashed. Yesterday I was moving a person slightly to the left and again, MAX crashed (different scene).

There should be a 3dsmax dump file in the temp folder after the crash - send it over. Of course a scene and reproduce steps are always the better option for us
