Color Picker

Is this a MAX thing or a V-Ray thing? I am using 3DS MAX 2018 and my color picker isn't working.

Weird. Works just fine for me in 2018. You could always just use the "Anew Gray" swatch as the diffuse color. Just use the cropping tool to select an area without the text. I sometimes up the blur offset just to get rid of any artifacts in the bitmap as well.
