VRaySpawner service Authentication problem

I installed the spawner on all my computers, each time entering my credentials for the spawner service, but on one of them the Windows Security dialog won't accept my password. It just keeps asking for credentials. Even though caps-lock is not pressed and I am entering the exact correct credentials... I also run it as administrator. My login is an offline account.<

Ok I found out how to work around this. By going directly in the Services, the spawner was installed as a service and entering the same credentials worked there!

Ok, glad that it's sorted out. I'm not entirely sure why it won't accept your credentials when you enter them directly; it's a Windows dialog and Windows is supposed to handle it.

Hmm, same problem here on win 7 pro. I gave up and manually put the link in the startup folder of the user profile.

I have problem with the spawner as a service too. I've entered my log on credentials in the service, it starts rendering fine, but the machine doesn't render the textures which are on a mapped network drive that the machine has access to. The OS is Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 with latest updates. Any ideas what the problem might be?

It is also displayed in "Register as a service the V-Ray spawner for 3ds Max 20xx" in V-Ray 5.2.
However, if I press OK without entering the username and password, the service will be registered.
The Authentication dialog loops.

It's really a mystery.
