This bug has been plaguing me for awhile. My 3DS MAX or V-Ray goes into a frenzy and I have to kill MAX to keep working. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to be costing me. 3DS MAX 2018 with the latest V-Ray and all drivers are current.

I'm not sure that's the same bug as the unresponsive VFB. I've had this happen to me as well but rare enough that I haven't noticed any pattern to it (just a couple of times). Basically all of the max windows start cycling through each other (on and off) and no progress seems to happen on the render so you have to kill it.Last edited by dlparisi; 14-11-2017, 10:01 AM.www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

Got bit again just now. I simply picked the exposure button and it sent MAX into a frenzy.Bobby Parker
