i tend to use only 2D mapping when using VRayDisplacemen tmap cause the details as so much crisper but 3D mapping is useful when on a thight deadline cause it's a lot faster but now i am getting those white lines with 3D mapping you can see on the left.
The only way to get rid of them is by bluring the displacement map loosing all details in the process...
Is there a way to avoid those with highlights with 3d mapping? They donT' appear at all with 2d mapping. with 2d mapping I can uncheck filter in the displacemenr mod and set blurr to the minimum od 0,01 in the hdri texture used for displacement.
So left is 3d and right 2d mapping
