Works for me on a simple test; if you have a scene where it doesn't maybe you can post here or send it to support@chaosgroup.com?

    Best regards,

      Hi Vlado

      Thank you for the reply

      Here's the scene

      https://www.dropbox.com/s/ohlx1q6otinw0gv/RELS_TEST.max?dl=0.

You can see the grouped selection does not appear in RE at all.

My apologies for not mentioning the Render Engine (V-Ray RT GPU 3.60.04)

Ledian, you have 3 threads for the same issue.

          1. You didn't mentioned anywhere in the posts that you are grouping the lights. As a matter of fact you are grouping them together with their targets, which is causing the issue. Grouping only the lights and picking that group will work as expected.
          2. The speed of processing your issue is not multiplied by the number of threads opened for it.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

              Hi,
Just out of curiosity would the grouping of lights have other potential scene errors in general or just in this specific case ?
              thanks

Actually Ledian's case was even more complicated - the group was made from VRayIES lights as child objects of their targets.
