  • BUG with VFB render elements displayed ON but OFF in rendering

I'm going to explain a bug very very boring : i noticed that when VFB is active and when you switch OFF the frame buffer, the render passes go from OFF (when VFB) to ON... ok... BUT in the EXR format file render the render passes are ... OFF... and surprises in the compositing....
If yo want to test it, test you will see.

    Best regards.

Could you tell us what exactly do you mean with "and surprises in the compositing..."? What kind of issues do you have in the compositing?

To answer your question, it's ironic, what i mean i in fact because of the bug, there is no render passes... So only RGB in the EXR file.

Have you tried checking "Automatically Add/Remove Render Elements" in the OpenEXR Configuration window?

Thanks nikolay In fact i know this function "Automatically Add/Remove Render Elements" But the problem i'm talking about, is a bug that switch OFF the render elements in the window you captured, when a precedent render have been done with VFB. If you uncheck the radio button of the VFB, and you check the radio of the render file, if you open the properties, you'll see that all the render passes have been switch to OFF.
