  • Vray Sun never invisible?

Hi, using 3ds max 2014, with latest Vray, and I cant seem to get rid of the Vray sun from reflections, specifically in window glass. I presumed that you use the invisible tick box, and its removed from the reflections, but its still there?

Don't think I'm doing anything stupid!

Did you uncheck it from the vraysky map?

Yes, tried that, dragged the map out, set it to manual sun node, and chose the sun. I had hoped that would do it. I have noticed a massive visual difference from having the reflection glossiness set to 1 - the sun looks like a soft blurred splodge, to having it 0.99 - you have a very small sharp circle. Either way, I've like to not see the sun in reflections!

"Affect specular " under vray sun can help I guess.

Simply, I love to put pixels together! Sounds easy right : ))

            It's for direct visibility.

Ok, so if you see it in the sky background, makes sense.
