  • wierd artifacts in animation

    Hi all,

I am getting weird artifacts in my animations of this scene. Not sure if I need more samples in the LC?
I render out a small clip every 5th frame to show off what I am trying to explain. You can see it on the tables and the beams.

I am using BF and LC.

    Thanks, guys.

Does it help if you turn on "Sub-pixel mapping" and "Clamp output" in the Color mapping section of the render settings?

Do the original RGBs have these artefacts?

Can you show the originals? Because of the video compression it's a bit hard to see what's going on.

              Best regards,

Dmitry I tried that as well and got the same results. What I did today was I turn off LC and used BF in both primary and secondary and def got rid of the issue. So now I am testing a higher subdiv with LC and see if thats the issue.

So I decided to try BF in both primary and secondary and that worked in getting rid of the artifacts but its very noisy. Sort of running out of time in trying to figure out why the LC is producing the effect.
                      Cheers

Tried LC at 3000 and retrace at 8.0?
