  • Problems MultiMatteElement and HairFarm objects

If you register a HairFarm object with multiple Hair Generate modifiers in the Include / Exclude list of MultiMatteElement, elements will not be output correctly.

Thanks, I'll log it. As a workaround you can set the same material ID to the materials in your Hair Generate modifiers and use the mtlID function of the MultiMatteElement.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

      Has this problem been fixed?

Similarly, Include/Exclude of light does not work for objects with multiple Hair Generate modifiers.

      Plase check and fix.

This bug will not be fixed. Does anyone use HairFarm?

About the light with include/exclude - can you send me a simple scene representing the issue? It seems fine here.

For the masking with MultiMatte, as I already told you, the workaround with Mtl IDs is working fine. VRayCryptomatte seems to handle the different HairGenerate mods as well.

              Sorry again.
The problem is that objects with multiple The Hair Generate modifiers can not be excluded with MultiMatteElement.

In MultiMatteElement, only the first Hair Generate modifier is recognized, and modifiers after the second are not recognized.

Simply, even if you have multiple Hair Generate modifiers for one object, I want you to exclude them as one object.

So you want to see only the source object and no hairs in the MultiMatteElement?

It is a problem that Include / Exclude of MultiMatteElement ignores the hair generated by the second Hair Generate modifier.

Have you tried the workaround that I gave you?
