Hi,
Not sure i`ve described that entirely right. I`ll add an image. A vray plane light multiplier 4 and an object in front of it. You can see the objects edges being lit by the the vray light behind. The material is a default vray material grey. The object has no thickness but even with a shell modifier to add depth the effect is reduced but not gone, particularly close to the edges it`s still quite noticable.
I thought it might just be a weird object but if I create a new plane object in it`s place the same thing happens.
We`re still using 3.40.03 but i`ve tested in 3.6.04 and it`s the same. I also tried resetting the renderer, switching off adaptive/probablistic lights and no luck.
Anything spring to mind ?
thanks
