Hi!
Me and a friend have stumbled upon a little thing with the VRayDisplacementMod in how it seemed to have an unexpected behavior in the Max subdivs setting.
We stumbled upon it when we tried to set the least amount of subdivisions for a visually pleasing result.
And we have replicated the behavior in both Maya and 3ds max with Vray 3.60.03.
When we raise the Max Subdivs step by step the actual subdivisions does only increase at certain steps. 1;2;4;8;16...
See the attached image of the table that my friend put togheter.
We can't seem to find that this behavior is to be expected from this setting in the documentation?
And if only certain values is valid would this setting perhaps be better of as a dropdown of possible levels?
Best regards
/Lars
