  • IPR / Auto Vertical Tilt Correction problem

Hi All, i have some problems with IPR render and camera corrections ( 3dsmax).
When i try to enable "Lens shift " in "Perspective control", IPR start rendering but i can only see black noise. If i disable that options, the IPR is ok. Did someone find fixes?

It seems to work fine here with 3.60.04 and 3ds Max 2018.
What's the V-Ray and 3ds Max versions that you are using?

Would it be possible to try to same thing on a very simple scene with a few primitives, a light and Physical Camera?
Let us know if it works or not.

      I had 3.60.03.
I Installed 3.6.04 with 3dsmax 2016 ( maybe i will switch to 2019 when it will came out... ) but same bug. If i enable "vertical shift" IPR doesn't work well. It starts to build and merge light cache forever...

Here is a short video of my test:
        http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...7_12-01-45.mp4

Everything seems to work fine, or at least I didn't spot any errors.
Is that what you are testing into your environment?
If not would it be possible to record a video in order to see what are the performed actions and the corresponding result.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I tested the issue with two interior scenes but I couldn't reproduce it. It might be something in the scene that triggers this behavior. Would it be possible to send us the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we could investigate further? Please make sure to mention this thread in your e-mail.

Do you have instances of that physical camera? There is an issue in 3dsMax 2016 and instanced cameras which causes the render to update infinitely.
