Region rendering - Network buckets render black

Hi

Strange problem.
Using a work station and one other Slave pc for distributed rendering.
Everything runs fine, but if I do a region render, then the slave buckets render black.
If I render the whole image the slave buckets render normally.
Using Max 2016 and latest Vray.
Anybody else have this problem, is there a fix?

Does it happen on every scene or just on particular one?
Can you run a quick test with a new scene with a few basic primitives and a light?

By latest version do you mean version 3.60.04 or V-Ray Next Beta 2?

Which region rendering are you using? The one from VFB or 3dsMax native render regions?
Have you got any error messages in V-Ray log file in workstation and render slave?
What about Progressive Image Sampler, does it work as expected with region enabled?

Hi,

I have the same problem:

-It happen on every scene.
-Happen on new
-version 3.60.04 on WS and renderer WS (RS)
-I'm using render region from FB Vray (VFB).
-One importante error on log file (see attached file) : ''error:[RIFile::WTVRayinfo] No file stream''
-The Image Sampler it set to Bucket.
-Max 2017. 19.0 Update commercial.

Any problem on reading file, or other think ?

There is a 3dsMax script which acts like a virus, it deletes the lights on every opened scene causing black render.
Have you tried to render the scene with another render engine.
Also - there are some strange error messages in the log, they are very strange for a new scene, can you send it over for investigation?
