Digging up an old file, I've noticed that upon re-rendering the same image there are now areas of completely black in the specular and some in the lighting pass. I'm using 3.6 for 3ds Max. Didn't have this problem on previous versions.

Copied lights cause black areas in VrayLighting and VraySpecular pass.

Did you ever find a work around for this? I found that it was related to the light cache and my lights but replacing the lights didn't really fix the situation. The weirdest thing was the lights that caused the problem were exclusive to surfaces that were not effected by the errors in the spec or lighting pass
