  • Dome Light HDRI Issue

I haven't run into this before, but my alpha channel isn't liking a Peter Guthrie hdr file. I have not idea how to fix it.

    - Outside window scene Alpha Contribution set to "0" as always
    - Window glass refraction color set to around 125, Affect Channels set to "All Channels"

Usually this gives me a nice alpha to be able to tweak/change the scenic as needed. But is seems like the hdr is showing up and it shouldn't be.

    Thanks.

UPDATE: It is not the Peter Guthrie map. I took that out of the dome texture slot and it's still creating half of an alpha... Any thoughts on render elements to add in to help diagnose what's causing this?

Did you set the domelight to invisible? Otherwise it will be shown in the alpha as white...
You will loose the HDR behind the window, but you can get it back when you instance the HDR into the max environment slot.
