  • Vray 3.6.04 broken

Hi, for some reasons that i still cant figure out vray 3.6.04 on 3ds max 2018 SP4 is acting crazy,
in vray adv mode cant use ipr i get the error ( disstributed rendering is not supported in ipr mode) even thought i never used DR and its not ticked in the settings rollout,
in adv also when rendering production mode the VFB freeze cant see my buckets working normaly its like stop motion buckets moving.
in GPU mode i cant use the interactive mode the error is ( progressive RPP must be disabled when adaptive light are used. disabling rpp) and nothing ever happen the frame buffer is black the stop rendering is gray.
All the above is happening with every scene even fresh new one.

unistalled 3.6.04 reinstalled 3.6.04 installed license server 5.01, and it doesnt change a thing.
installed vray next 4.02.3 beta and every thing working like a charm.
uninstalled beta , reinstalled 3.6.04, and back to the same problems.
    Help.
i never had these sort of issues before...

Yeah the VFB hangs are an enormous PITA. But probably unrelated to the other issues you're having, as a lot of people have VFB hangs.

it is the same issue as the thread mentioned above, setting the environment variable QT_OPENGL to "angle" helped with vray 3.6.04, but did not solve the issue, still need to minimize/maximise 3ds max.
using vray next beta 3 for now, i hope this issue will be fixed, its slowing down the production process.
