VRscan crashes Max with Distributed Rendering

when using a vrscan material with DR, max crashes every time. is this a known issue? Fix?

What're the exact 3dsMax and V-Ray version.
Does it work fine when rendering with DR disabled?
How many VRscans licenses do you have?
Do all machines renders VRscans scene separately without DR?
