Hey guys
It seems that it`s "impossible" to clean the noise produced by vray light into environment fog with Next GPU. No matter how many samples you throw at it. I tested as low as 0.0005(crazy) on noise threshold and 100 000 sample limit. It will not clean. In production setups the noise threshold is usually magnitude higher, around 0.01 - 0.005. Render and link to setup attached, if somebody wants to try... http://www.psanitra.com/work/_next_fog.max
1080Ti shooting rays for 30 minutes for the attached image , 95% utilization. Not enough.
Is there something that can be done to control the sampling of that problematic area near light source separably? On GPU? i know we can control in on Cpu version with individual samples/shading rate etc. , but GPU?
thank you
Peter
